The Below Story is Silly but quite Funny. It happened today @ Sentosa.
I was there for the Flower Fair. Here I am, waiting in the Small Carpark for lot. Waited for 10mins..... (BTW, the ERP carpark charges was clocking ok - that means I am paying $$$).

Saw a car coming out (I was happy like Bird)...... and before I can react to it, a Old Uncle came from behind and drove towards it. I was like WTF!!!

While he was reversing, I quickly drove right in (Head-in Parking) and this resulted in the following conversation.

1st Uncle: Came out of the car, Harlo that's my lot, You cannot see me Reversing is it?
Me: Is it? I waited for 10mins, U mean U didn't see my car?
Uncle: This is my Friend's lot, he left for me to park. You saw the car juz came out? That's my friend.
Me: Ok, U call yr fren back, I pass U the lot. The Attendant Aunty there can witness I waited for 10mins. (Aunty walked towards us and verifies with Uncle: Yes, he was here 1st)
2nd Uncle: (Came out of car) Come on man, we are Old People. U r Young man, why can't U give us the lot.
Me: Uncle, it's not about Old or Young, I waited for 10mins, U in the 1st place has got no respect. U cut my Q and now U r talking to me abt all this Old People Theory. U simply got no respect for drivers, and U r a driver yourself. BTW, where's your friend? Call him lah. He comes back I pass you the lot. Dun come and bluff me hor!
2nd Uncle: U really har..... don't know Filial Piety. Simply NO Respect ......
Me: Uncle, U dun come and talk to me about Old People and Now talk about Filial Piety. Are U my father? What Filial Piety? I have to show it to U? Are You my Father x 2???
This is a real BullShit and a Turn Off. Uncle, are you out to spoil and mess up my New Year? If you are, than I will also Mess up your New Year. You understand me?

Of course not all Old people are like this. This is really a absurd case andI won't take it lying down.
1stly, he cut my line, now he lecture me about me not giving the lot to Old People and Filial Piety. Really make me Unleash the Dragon Temper in me out to him. Like I say: Filial Piety to him! What a D@mned joke.

As Chinese New Year draws closer, Jen and myself headed down to ChinaTown again (This is the 3rd time we were there), also to capture some shots of the Water Dragon.
The other 2x we were there was on a Day time visit. So this time round, we stay till 7.30pm just to capture some shots of it. Not too bad, manage to take afew good shots.

This is perhaps one of the Best Instant Noodles I had ever eaten.

I went to Taiwan in the year 2000 and since than have fallen in love with this noodles.
Though it is instant noodles, but it really does have chunks of real meat carefully packed inside a special sealed foilled package. It has a expiry date of up to 2 years.
Simply Yummilicious.

Still remember me saying to myself in the begining of 2011 that I was not ready for the year 2011. Before knowing.......... and was still trying to adapt to 2011, bad news dude, 2012 is just 2 days away.
Seriously, once again I am not ready for 2012 (dun know why)!
No anticipation, No expectation, 3 words: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing.
All I could possibly say is: TIME FLIEssssssss and soon it will be 2013 (LoLxxxxxx).

Anyway, will be doing the usual stuff like: Reviewing what has been done for the year 2011 and 2012 New Year Resolution.

It has been a super long time eversince I set foot into the Zoo.

This Xmas 2011, didn't really plan much for my own personally Xmas party.

Reason been, one of my friend had her wedding dinner on Xmas eve itself. This is the 2nd Xmas Eve Wedding I had. Way back many many years ago, my sisiter also had her wedding done up during the Xmas eve. Will try to drop by to some friends house later for a Xmas gathering.

This is a very young couple. Lady is only 24, Guy I think about 25/26.

Didn't want a very hectic gathering, so it was only the 2 of us (me and my wife). Simple, quiet weekend together.

The Story of a Farmer and his Donkey

This story has been circulated like wild fire in Facebook.
I personally finds this story very touching and meaningful.
Share it with all of you who login or visits my blog ^^

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for ...hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.

Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :

Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less from people but more from God.

Lantern Display @ Chinese Garden

As usual, every year, I will make a attempt to visit the Chinese Garden during the Lantern Festival.
Byt this year the Lantern display was a real disappointment!
Compare to previous years, it was very lacking in display of lanterns.
All was there were lantern that makes up the 12 Zodial animals, some tradditional chinese heros, panda lantern and some of the chinese gods like: Fu, Lu, Shou.
Really disappointed.

M Parking

Recently I was at Club Street.
Was trying to find a parallel parking lot there but was in vain.
Drove further and I discovered a very special parking lot called M-Parking.
Though I do not know what M means - my guess is: either Machine or Mobil. I might be wrong.
From outside I observe how it is done.
Here's where all the cars are been automatically parked.
So my car went into the car lift.
There was alot of instructions given:
1. Fold down your antenna
2. Close your side mirror
3. Switch off your engine. WHAT??? Switch OFF? (I ponder for along time).
Than switch off my engine and walk away from my car.
I watch the lift, weird................................ no respond?
Than someone walk towards me, sir you have to key in 4 digit number as your retrieving password. Orrrrrrrh!
Keyed in 4 digit number and Car Lift door closes.
When parking car, head park in. When car is been retrieve, it will auto turn your car around to be in a drive away position.

Jen's Granny passed away

She was 102 year old.

New Facelift for Goldhill

I have spend 8 years in Goldhill Centre (working there lah).
But today, I went back there after a 8 years break and I was real astonished and surprised that it had almost a overhaul face lift. To begin with, United Square had a face lift. Follow by all the shops around goldhill.
Of course this Old coffee shop still stood the test of time. The kopi uncle is Tony and the very famous chicken rice stall is also still there after 14 years. The chicken rice stall owner is a young man call Micheal.

I once grew up in Toa Payoh. Spend almost 2 decades there.
Shifted from Lorong 7 to lorong 5.
My last location in Toa Payoh was at Lorong 5 and it is very near to the Old Neighbourhood Hawker Centre at Blk 75.
There are alot of good food there like: Fishball Noodle Stall, Dessert stalls, BBQ Chicken Wing etc.....
Now I hardly visit Toa Payoh, but since last Tuesday - after my visit there for the Fishball Noodle with Julian, I went back to the stall again today.
Simply delicious................ please dun believe what I am saying here in my blog. Head down and try it. You will love it.

Do take time to walk around and naturally one will be very captivated at all those Big Brands there. Well, those big brands can speaks for themselves, I am not here to blog about them. I would like to share what I myself have personally experience in MBS and around it's area. I have spend 3 weekends on the Railway Track.
Walking around and shooting with 2 of my friends (Jason aka Ksong / Pingus and JJ).
I must say - without the both of your company, I will not be able to accomplish much least do the craziest thing of completing the 11.3km walk.

We have taken 2 routes so far.
# Route 1
Bukit Timag Railway Track - Railway Mall - Gombak - Ten Miles Junction (About 5km)
This is perhaps One of the Best and Most Beautiful track ever walked by us as we have seen beautifuk and refreshing scenes like Plantation, flowers as well as vegetaions. But I must say - it is sad to see humans plucking and destroying this landscape. It was their selfish behaviour that eventually destroy what others could not see in weeks to come..... sad!

Bukit Timah Railway Track - Ghim Moh - PSA - Bukit Merah - Tanjong Pagar (About 11.3km)
This is a tough route, no joke. But we persisted on and finally we make it to the end.

Drove in to JB this morning. Was there for work.
Got to get some details for the 3R project, so went in to interview Mr Foo and to get some shoots of the plant.
All went on smoothly ^^This morning before I got up to my car, I was been greeted by this little bird. It kept placing it's head inside it's wings. The wind was pretty strong. So sorry, I didn't have time to give this bird more attention. Hope the bird is ok!Can see alot of this structures in Malaysia. Brought my Canon 600D out for a walk.
Went to Tanjong Pagar Station - but the station is closed. Please guys, do not go there anymore. So I proceeded to Bukit Timah Railway Track to try my luck.
It was a truely tiring walk, but it was pretty fruitful.
Will walk the track again next Sunday. Anyone keen?
This time, I plan to walk from Bukit Timah to Tanjong Pagar.

Went to embark on a 3 Saturday's weekend Computer Lesson. Reason: I thjink I really has got nothing better to do (LoLxxxxxx).
Actually it was mean for Jen, I was only merely accompanying her for the course.
Here's my Computer Lesson result.

Lesson : from 9am - 6pm (not forgetting last night Friday - I went for overnight fishing from 10-3am) Biangzzzzz wonder how I survived all this!
After the computer lesson, headed to Seletar Garden for their Resident Dinner and Get to know the residence better session. It was a seat and served 9 course dinner. Dinner was 7.30pm - 10pm. Again, I was feeling super tired by now.
Total of 32 - 34 tables I think.
Finally food, gorgeous food.

Fishing Trip

It has been quite sometime eversince I went for a Fishing Trip.
Went on a simple Pond Fishing Trip with Gabriel and his 2 children.
Gab bought 3 fishing rod, so off to Pasir Ris Farmway we go.
Finally arrived @ PR Fishing Pond. Lots and lots of people.
We quickly find a spot to camp.

Fishing trip was from 10pm - 3am. The following morning which was a Saturday, I still gotta attend Computer Course Lesson follow by a Course Test.

Event - Badminton/Football Under 14

Attended another sponsored event at Tampines Stadium this morning. Somehow this week quite a handful of events. So I have to be popping by here and there!

Reached the stadium at 8am, put on the Special T-Shirt been given to me by Mr Ismail (Pacific Sports) - this T-shirt is for designated VIPs as well as invited guest and MP's too. Upon seeing this T-shirt, the ushers will than usher you to the designated seats to view the Official Opening of the games.

The Guest of Honor was: Minister of Education (Newly appointed - Mr Heng Swee Kiat).

It was indeed good to see the stadium been flooded with kids after kids after kids.
I guess sports is one way to keep them Healthy as well as stay away from drugs and all the other bad activities.
Tampines Stadium has been around for many years - but sad to say, this is my 1st visit there. I used to be staying at Tampines for about 8 years in the past - but never really want to make a attempt to drop by lor hahahahaha.Trophies............... Wow!Somehow, there is a very strange feeling that I will have whenever I sees a trophy. I will think back on those good old school days, on how I will compete in competitive sports. Will always remember those sports I am in: Badminton, Rugby, Football, Athletics - 100m, 200m, 4x100m.
I think I better take a pix of myself to prove I am at the event. Later people say I go there and see girls. Haizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.I also happen to like the T-shirt very much.

Yesterday, I was in a paint shop wanting to buy a bottle of paint.
Went in, saw a man (about 55+ years old), asked him politely - Uncle I want to buy this XXX, where can I find it?

Here's how the conversation goes:

Me: Uncle, I want to buy XXX, where can I find it?
Uncle: What Color?
Me: Brown, but I understand there is a different range of brown colors.
Uncle: Inside inside! (raised his voice at me)
Me: Uncle, Inside where?
Uncle: Here lah! (again raised his voice)
Me: Ok! I proceeded inside, search thru all this paints, take out bottle by bottle than..............
Uncle: HARLO!!!! you take out all the bottles for WHAT?
Me: I dun take out, how I see?
Uncle: See the Color Chart lah! (Only now than he take out color chart)!
Me: Wa Biangzzzz, I ask you, you say inside! I search for colors by bottle than only now you take out color chart.
Uncle: Ok Ok........ choose color alreadi?
Me: Yup, I think is this color.
Uncle: Ok Ok Buy brush ..... Brush there. (He is getting very impatient)
Me: Ok
Me: Uncle, I should use what kind of brush?
Uncle: This one lah! (shouted again at me)
Me: Nearly fainted. WTH, I find him very rude.

I thought he only treats me this way, only to find him also talking the same way to another anutie who was making enquiries at his shop.

I don't think I will ever go back to his shop again to purchase any more items.

Computer Course - PC Show 2011

Today was a No Car Day for me. So Jen and Myself took the Public Transport down to Orchard to attend a part 1 of 3 session of Computer lessons. The course was a real Mind Blowing one...... can you imagine 9 hours of hands on lesson? Total will be 27 hours in total and at the end of it - Test. Goodness.
After 9 hours of concussion, we headed to PC Show at Suntec. There it was another 2.5hours of Shopping Stress!

Lessons with the Aunties. Believe me, it was a hell of an experience!
I really admired Mr Oon's patience. In today's lesson, I was shocked to learned that there is actually such a thing called: Triple Click! All this while, I only know of Single and Double Click.

Lunch @ Mushroom Pot with Chris. So nice of her to drop by and meet us and thanks for the lunch Chris ^^

After the lesson, we proceeded to PC Show. Super Packed!

Was in Tampines this afternoon upon receiving a pretty late notice that our company have and will be receiving a Certicate of Appreciate from Minister for Environment and Water Resources.
I guess this also marks a Week long of Recycling Week 2011.
The stage - as we are all getting ready for a stunning performance by the students.

Was in Suntec today.
Was there to pay a customer a visit at the Book Fair.
Happen to also cross over to the next hall and found that there was a Gaming Exhibition there too.
And I spend $xxx on Cashcard again (HeeHee) and I got this Yeti Keychain ^^
The event is still on till Sunday I think.

There was a few MapleStory Mascot there.
This is Giant Yeti. Dun really look very realistic, it is also very clumpsy. This Mascot can't walk on it's own, it's too huge, so it have to be hand held by someone to guide it.

There were afew changes here and there. But, the changes somehow was not to the Maplers advantage.

I had my 1st blood (taste) on this newly created Gong Cha drink.
For those who does not know much about GC, Gong Cha is a bubble tea establishment.
All of us knew that the Bubble Tea business bubble has already bursted during the year 2000+ due to the fact that
there wasn't any good control in management of the Bubble Tea business.
Overnight, anyone can find bubble tea stalls at their convenience almost everywhere in Singapore.
it's like, 2-3 stalls within a single location or worst still just at the turn down a block - no wonder the bubble bursted!
Bubble Tea Owners even have to resort to Hot babes in bikinis to sell their bubble tea and of course this attracted a lot of Ah Pehssss.
When too many Ah Pehs gather, this annoys their wife and soon - this became headlines once again. Such was the history of bubble tea.

This New Era, 2 particular brands have spring forth namely:
1. Koi
2. Gong Cha
I had my 1st cup of Gong Cha (well not exactly Cha or tea), coz I had a Strawberry Milkshake version.
Well, firstly, I was surprise by a few facts.
1. The counter staff, seems knowledgeable (they could explain to you about sugar levels, as well as what exactly are you ordering - if you would just ask them). In the past, it was not like that. What you order is what you will get. 1 more word from you, I think the Aunties will definitely bark back at you with their nasty remarks: aiyah, wan to buy buy lah.... ask so much. Now is so different.
2. I seriously do not know that there is such a thing call White Pearls. For me, my time stood as far as year 2000 (only black pearls). And now.......White! So I am surprisingly "SuaKu!!!!!!

Having tried Gong Cha - and I think I pretty quite like it, now is time to move on to try Koi.
But trying to get my hands on Koi can be a very discouraging affair, as there is always a long Q at their store.

Lastly, I must mention this, thanks to Koi and Gong Cha for reviving the BubbleTea business in Singapore.

Please Do Not Forget that we were Once Poor! Now that we are well off and have the abilities to help others, please do not forget to help those who are in need too!

At times we tend to have forgotten that what we have today, it does not come easy.
It was due to our fore fathers, having the foresight, and took great pains to make that decision to want to strive for a better life (for themselves as well as the next generation) that forced them to leave their birth place (Nanyang or China) and to make their way here to relocate and also to call Singapore their home.
I have long wanted to visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre.
The fees there is only $10, but it was a great place to be in.
Located at the heartbeat of Chinatown itself, it does house a great collections as well as re-collections of varieties of the oldies and tradditional items, and it exhibits those good old hard lives of the earlier settlers.
Here are some of the pictures to futher remind us, that we must never take things for granted.
Chinatown Heritage Centre. A Heritage Centre not only meant for tourist But for every Singaporean that wishes to know everything about Singapore (especially how and what lives are like in the 50's)

I remember seeing this old cupboard in my granny house before.
Wow....... look at the old flask. Very difficult to find it now. Further more, now all flask are electrical.

Old Fashioned Glass Bottles - I believe still are able to get it in certain parts of Indonesia or Thailand.

Today, the technicians from OpenNet came over to my house to install the Optical Fibre Terminal Point @ 6pm.
There is a total of 2 teams.
Team 1, will do all the heavy installations like: Drilling and trunking and wiring of cables.
Team 2, will come shortly to test the signal and finalise all the wiring together with the capping of the terminal point.

At this point of time, I will do a short write up on OpenNet Services, I am equally surprise that many of my friends doesn't really know or are aware of this Optical Fibre Service.

To begin with..................... let's 1st of all understand what is Next Gen NBN, and Who is OpenNet.

Gen NBN (What is Next Gen NBN?)
It is Singapore's all new, ultra high speed optical fibre network that will be deployed nationwide by mid-2012 to all homes and offices, including schools, commercial properties and hospitals.

OpenNet (Who is OpenNet?)
OpenNet is the company appointed by IDA to deploy optical fibre network for the Next Gen NBN. OpenNet will progressively contact home owners to install a fibre terminal point within their homes.

Cross over from Singapore to Pulau Ubin today with Ethan, Kenneth, 1 Boy Boy (coz I cannot remember his name lolxxxx).
It has been like 20 years, eversince I set foot on P. Ubin.
The ride there was still not too bad, only some some 7-12mins. Finally survived the ride and hope onto the island.................and it was a real pleasant trip. Totally rural. It was indeed a good break from the City Life.

The Tap Zoo Game that I have been faithfully playing on my Iphone4 - has accidentally been deleted by myself.
OMG, I have to start all over again and I have finally reached a level of 29.
In my Zoo, I have gotta so many animals and Cross Breeded so many species and "Poooofed"! ALL GONE.
I quickly did a re-syn BUT I still fail to syn back all my previous old Tap Zoo's record.
Initially when I 1st started playing TZ, they only started off players with lesser then 6 stars. NOW............... suddenly I have 68 Stars wahahahahahahaha.
All laughter for that, but I still miss my Old Tap Zoo.

Recently restored Tap Zoo........... Haizzzz, all my lovely animals (not forgetting those limited editions like - Jelly Fish).

Hard Rock Hotel @ Universal Studio

The time is 7.30pm, we were all gathering outside at the main entrance of Universal Studio waiting to go in. Our mission is very clear: There are 3 Night Rides - all exclusively opened only for us. This is a T Carnival. Here are some pix for the memories

And I was Silly enuff to want to try it! Actually I was been drag there by Gabriel. So together with Him + his son + daughter, here Gooooooooooooos............ and I didn't even know I was caught by some High Speed camera. This pix cost me $18 (once in a life time, so I purchase it lor). Please hor, NO more next time. There are 2 rides or 2 lanes. The Red Track and the Blue track. I think the Red Track speed is faster but the Blue track ride is scarer as there is a upside down ride involve. Try the Blue Track - NEVER! Dream on!
After the ride, my whole body system was affected.
Head - Giddy. Stomach - Sibeh upset. Every intestine in my body was all mess up. Orrrrrrh! Took me another 1 hour to settle down before I could finally eat some food. And I crave for: Sweet stuff............ so I grab food like - creamy cakes, chocolate cakes as well as a small bowl of Ee Fu Mee.
The following day, we started wandering around the shops around U.S.
There are alot of chocolate as well as candy shops in the vicinity.

This is one of our favourite eating place. Called the Asian Market - it has a great varieties of fppd spread from Chinese, Indians as well as Localised Hawker food as well as Jappy.

Last Weekend was a day of shifting - shifting things around my rooms LoLxxxx (Alot of friend thought I shifted house again). Where got so much $$$. Already spend Half a Million (haven recover the lost yet T_____T).

So we waited for the new furnitures to arrive and it did. Everything went on as plan. One by One the contractor and delivery came - On Time! What a relief........

Don't you just love them (delivery man) who arrives on time.

So to reward them alittle, we voluntary offer them........... some drinks ^^

Today is the Press Release of Tri-Factor. It was been held in Suntec. So a team of us headed down to check out the Press Release as well as meet up with the MD of Tri-Factor which is Elvin.

TRI-Factor Series 2010 is a nation-wide professional race 4 leg series that allows aspiring athletes to train, race and progress at their own pace. Participants may join any one or more of four races that comprises of a mass swim, mass cycling, mass running and last but not least triathlon races. Race distances are designed for a triathlon novice to take on the challenge comfortably. Coaches, race guidance and training programs will be arranged. Race activities are designed to facilitate and engage an active lifestyle of ‘Training with Friends’, ‘Racing with Friends’, and ‘Making New Friends in Sports’.

Went to RP for lunch with my Malay Colleagues today.
As I passed by a Malay Stall, I suddenly saw something that looks kind of "New and Weird" to me.
So I begin to ask the Mak Cik, Cik - What's this "egg egg" thing?
Mak Cik replied: It's call Roti Kirai.
Well..................
So I ordered!
And I eat............ and?
Erm, not too bad. It is actually make of Flour (of coz with many holes in it.) Perhaps the holes in the flour add as a design too. Not too sweet, mixed with curry.............. hmmmm Delicious.

Beautiful Saturday

Hmmm what a beautiful Saturday.. Weather seems nice, so I headed down to the newly opened Mcdonalds @ Bishan Park and...... Sorry to say this, I was not at all impressed with it. I thought I could relax there over a good cup of tea but..... Haizzzzz Perhaps the surrounding area around the Park also places an important park. The Condo there is not ready and the Park Canal also is not ready but yet Mcdonalds rush into the opening 1st. Hopefully when the park is fully open than I shall drop by again.

2 ways to reach there:

1. Bishan Park - there is a wooden bridge which links the park to Macdonalds.

2. Drive to Bishan Street 22, locate Blk 241. There is a open carpark there.

Finally I arrived at Mcdonalds

After, 1st day of the show, headed to Raffles Hotel for dinner with Gabriel too. This year's Job Fair sees more Foreigners coming forth to register for a job than Singaporeans (in my opinion).

Dominique's Birthday - 5 year old

Today is the celebration of my Nephew Dominque birthday. He is 5 year's old.
So all of us gathered and together with all his friend, we celebrated his birthday.

Pinata, this is a favourite among children.
The origin of Pinata:
In Mexico, piñatas are believed to have originated among the Aztecs, Mayans, and other native peoples of Mexico, who made clay pots in the shape of their gods. The pots were meant to be broken forcefully with poles and sticks, so the contents spilled to signify abundance or favors from the gods. Historians tell us that during the birthday celebration of the Aztec god of war, Huitzilopochtli, priests hung a clay pot on a pole in the temple. The pot was adorned with colorful feathers and filled with small treasures like bead ornaments, colorful or painted stones, berries, or nuts. When the pot was broken with a stick the little treasures spilled on the feet of the god as an offering. The Mayans played a game where the central player’s eyes were covered with a cloth while he tried to hit the pot that was suspended by a string.

Niq and some children, helped to put in all the treasures (sweets and candies) into the Pinata (Treasure Chest).

Gerald also helped out. The rest? It's ipad time ^^After filling up the Pinata, the 1st program kicks off for the children.
It's Art and Craft time. The children is learning how to make a aeroplane. The party theme is...................... Pirates See how attentive Janice is? Can see that she is putting in alot of effort in building her Aeroplane.

Bishan Park - Morning Walk

This morning, went for a Morning Walk with Gab and his family - Gloria, didn't join in for the walk as she has injured her leg during a Basket Ball game. As a result.................... her team lost hahahahaha. But she did join us for Breakfast.

Bishan Park. The Canal have dried up................... there have been alot of digging there lately. My understanding is: There want to develop Bishan Park into a Water Sport area. Now should be the widening of the canal. After the widening phase, there will be lots of water sports that will be introduced into BP, like Canoeing or Kayaking.
Mcdonald is also fast in securing a place there. I think the view will be very spectacular as one dines @ Mcdonald and watch the water sports at the same time. Spotted this "berries" look alike plant.

Wheel Clamped @ Raffles

Today, 2 security guard clamped my car wheel @ Raffles Hospital. Haieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!

It was quite an alarming and shocking situation yet funny.

I was already @ Raffles in the morning to supervise a delivery. Spoken to the Security Guard and he say no problem, go ahead and park (Only upon approval than can parked ok).

After the delivery, I went off for lunch and headed back to the Hospital again at 3.30pm.

As I felt that it was going to be a quickie, I didn't really went to the security department to Recheck in. Parked my car at the same position, Ran up quickly...... got some document signed and quickly run down and opsssssssss............... 2 secure guard was there at my car BUSY clamping it (LoLxxxxxxx).

Here's the conversation:

Me: Excuse me, what are you 2 doing? (I can still ask them this silly question, so funny).

Guard: Oh this is your car?

Me: Sorry Sorry, I went to see Mr C***, it was suppose to be a quick meeting.

Guard: But here cannot park!

Me: No wor....... it was Ms K** and Mr C*** who told me to park here (LoLxxxxx).

Guard: Ok Ok...... but next time you have to inform the security personnel so we can look out for your car lah. Just now got too many cars here parked illegally, like Happy Hour, so we have no choice but to clamp one car. We start to clamp only...... all move off liao.

Me: Oh...... so of all car you choose my car lah!

Guard: Becoz you not in the car mah
Me: Wa Biangzzzz, you want to give Mr C*** and Ms K** a call???
Guard: No need, we release the clamp now.

Went over to DownTownEast today to meet up with Katherine.
Had lunch there with Kat and her boss. Picked up the Chalet Voucher from them as well.
Eve also gave us (Ethan and myself) a tour round Wild Wild Wet...... Free Tour wor.
But I didn't snap any pix, coz not too nice, as there were afew hmmmm aunties there in swimming costumne.
Didn't know that inside WWW is so a huge place.
Was indeed very impressed with the Tsunami Pool.

Today headed down to Star Furniture (Upper Thomson Road) to select another set of Dinning Table.
The scariest part of shopping in a Furniture shop is as you walked around, suddenly everything just seem so appealing to you.
Suppose to get the dinning table but ended up got 3 items instead of 1.
Got 1 Dinning Table + 1 Shoe Rack Cabinet + 1 Single Seated Velvet Sofa (inclinable for Jen). zzzZZZ.......... add up it's all about $$$.
When the aunty asked: Anymore items sir, I say no, let's get out of here. Hahahahaha

Went down to town today, really dislike the parking in town.

It is always packed. I was driving round the carpark like 3-4 times - yet no parking lot. Suddenly I saw a very interesting sign >>>>> To CarLift and I decide to investigate.

Since I could not find a carpark lot, and I saw this CarLift sign, I might as well investigate.....
Align my car right infront of the CarLift. Waited for awhile, was wondering what will happen next? Nothing happened!

So I wind down my window to check...........

Oh, there is a button to press to activate the lift (But why is it not automatically detect???)

Drove my car right in.

Pretty worrying, the space is just nice. ...... leaving only a few inch on either side. Need to be steady!

Once inside the lift, I waited again for the bad lift gate (door) to close.

Surprisingly, the gate didn't close again! Haisssssss!

Dun tell me, I have to get out of my car to close the gate myself hahahahahahaha.

So I look around again and I spotted more buttons. There was a Up or Down Buttons on my right. Chey!!!!

Pressed the Up button and Uppppppp I went!

Felt excited but yet can't stop worrying............. as I could feel my car travelling up the lift. It is actually very unusual for a car to travel up.

Reached the top floor, gate opens - and I quickly drive out of the Lift. Parked my car and went for my appointment.

Today is Jen's birthday.

It was actually a day of feasting as we eat from lunch till almost dinner.

For Lunch, my sister Diana drop by and decides to buy Jen a birthday treat.

This afternoon, I went down to Shop and Save to have a look. And guess what I found?

Muar Otah............... Wow!!!

It have been a very long time ever since I have driven up to Muar.

Here's how it looks like..................in it's frozen state.

After steming it for 10-12 mins....................... it's super juicy and soft.

But somehow, compare to the actual Muar Otah, it lack of:

Coconut fragrance, as well as spicyness.

But overall - I still grade it a B+

Price is also reasonable: $4+

I was also invited to the Launching of "Home" MV at National Library Building, but sad to say I didn't manage to attend it as prior to this launch, I was having luncheon with SPH staff at Thomson Road.
No problem, they will be sending the MV DVD over to me shortly. ^^

30 Artists (Singers), all from different background, different achievements in life, putting down all their differences in lives - together with One Voice, One Heart: Presenting the theme song "Home" to Singapore and to the world!

Indeed it was Valentine day! What happen to the roses, kisses, chocolates and hugzzzz. But instead I got a real BIG KISS from a stranger.

I was driving along Upper Thomson Road when suddenly this Mini Van exiting out of Sin Ming Road tried to cut into my lane. As I have the right of way I continue driving thru as I was traveling from the main road. He went behind me, tried to filter in AND...................... YES, the front car braked and very naturally I braked too. BANGED!!!!

After the bang I came down to inspect my vehicle AND that van sped off...... WTF!!!!! The van sped off!
Wow this is real exciting......

Of course I got back to my car and pursue.

I chase this idiot 300meters down the road and................. luck caught up with him - Ding Ding too bad, Red Light. He was forced to stopped.

I got out of my car, on my hazzard light - signalled at the bus to apologise for the inconvenient caused and went up to the van and started snapping pictures. And mind you, I snap alot of pictures of the van, damages as well as the driver.

I think the driver also cannot tahan me, so he gave up, signalled to me to go to the left side where there was a petrol ksiok and I suppose he wanted to settle things there.

Once pulled into the petrol ksiok, I got out of my car and again I snapped. Snap more pix, till he cannot tahan. Than I questioned him..........

Me: Why did you drive off?

Van: Kept quiet

Me: Can I consider this a Hit and Run? Shall I call the police now?

Van: Kept quiet again

Me: How do you suggest we settle this? Private or Insurance?

Van: Insurance lor, if not I buy insurance for what?

Me: Can I have your particulars please? Driver licence?

What is going on? Why me? And this moron is a 64 year old man. WTH.

Bang me already still can speed off. So I started my pursuit..... 300 meters down the road.

Chinese New Year Luncheon - Singapore Island CC

Today went for a luncheon at Singapore Island Country Club. (HC Dad - hosted this Luncheon).

SICC carpark now is currently under renovation and all Members and Guests have to parked their car all the way at the Swimming Pool side and than staff from SICC will then Buggy us over to the Chinese Restaurant: Hong yuen.

New Year Celebration @ Gabriel's House

Gabriel hosted a Luncheon over at his place, and at the same time we wanted to view his Newly Renovated house pretty badly............ so Daniel + wife, Jen + myself all headed over yesterday (12 Feb 2011).

We were very surprised that the house was not only nicely done up, but there was also alot of changes. I can never imagine that we could actually change the positioin of a room in HDB flat.

He did just that, transforming his 4A flat almost into a Condo set up.

River Hong Bao 2011

Went down to River Hong Bao today.

Eh, I must say, I am abit disappointed with the turn out of the number of stores there.

I have been to RHB for all the previous years, but this year, it appears to be smaller in scale (I might be wrong), but I wasn't impress at all (sorry).

The only stall that I am impressed with was the 4D and ToTo stall which is located right infront of Cai Sheng. So I decided to try my luck and buy afew numbers there ^^

Suddenly, I came across a model of Kuan Yin Temple. Though I dun understand why it has to be there?

Chinese New Year - 6th Day

Today is the 6th day of Chinese New Year.

I spend some time driving around paying some of my customer a visit.

1st Stop - Joo Seng Road

2nd Stop - Lor Bakar Batu

Than back to office to settle some administrative work.

2nd stop was where I drop by to Profoto to pay Johnny Lam a quick visit.

It was a surprise as I met afew more familiar faces there.

It's always nice to bum into familiar faces LoLxxxxxx.

Witness for myself, my 1st Longest Lo Hei. Wow!

After work, headed down to River HongBao....................... eh, sorry guys, this year somehow I am not too impress with the RHB2011.

But I was quite surprise to find a ToTo booth at the River Hong Bao. The public can actually buy their 4D and ToTo there at the booth and it is located infront of Cai Sheng.

Hope I can be Lucky ^^

After work, went to River Hong Bao at the Floating Platform opposite Marina Square.

Grab some hawker food next to the RHB.

This Hokkien Prawn Noodle cost me $6 but I am so sorry to say that it really do taste horrible.

It was been fried by a youngster. I think he has not totally master the skill of cooking Hokkien Mee yet.

Since the Hokkien Prawn Noodle was a failure, I didn't to pick up another meal.

I walk towards Marina Square and hope to get a decent meal.

Got this Cheese Baked SeaFood Rice + Half a Bao at "Bao Jing Tian" Restaurant.

But I have to wait very very long for my side dish to show up. So when I asked the waitress again, she say ops, the kitchen have forgotten to prepare my side dish, and I waited and waited. Haizzzzzzzz I think they should change their name to Bao Ming Tian!

This was the side dish that took forever to come.

Reason - the kitchen forget to prepare wor Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Walk back to Esplanade and saw this Hua Yi performance.

This is so retro, it's like going back to the 60s or 70s
